Shopping Etiquette: Grocery Market • Avoid road rage in parking lots. Be courteous to other drivers just as you would like them to be to you. Think the Golden Rule. Better safe than sorry. • If you’ll be shopping with children, make sure to bring snacks with you. A nap before you leave won’t hurt either for the both of you! • Be mindful of those around you, and always zip your purse to avoid pickpockets. Yes, even when buying groceries! • Be patient in the check-out line even of you have a short fuse. • Stay off the cell phone while checking out. • Anticipate checkout. Don’t wait until your total has been rung up to pull out your wallet. A courteous shopper will have their money out ahead of time which will save time for the next person in line.
