Foreign Food Choices • Why is it that the best restaurants are always French or Italian and you have to be able to speak French or Italian to order? • I don't speak those languages, do you? So, how do we solve this problem without starving? • Keep in mind that many restaurants may supply an English translation in smaller type next to the native appellation. • If they don’t, practice what I call "INSTANT" French and Italian. • My suggestion is that you read through a list of common French and Italian foods in your free time, and choose 10 items from each list that you love and memorize them. • The next time you go out to dine you will be able to order a la carte by heart and it will actually be something that you like!
