Eye Contact Etiquette • How many of you think that your eyes say that you're listening? They are!!! • Eyes can be confident, trustworthy and caring, interested to name a few. • Eyes both send and receive "unspoken messages" so we always have to have them wide open. • Bad eye contact. If someone is talking to you and you're looking the other way. It says you’re not interested in them. • Good eye contact. If someone is talking to you and you look directly at them, seem interested and engaged, you will make big points. This type of behavior is very respectful. • If you remember one thing about making good eye contact, it’s that it's vital to look directly into someone's eyes for a lasting impression. Don't get carried away - you don’t want to give an uncomfortable stare which can be rude.
