Outdoor Exercise Etiquette: Biking/ Running/ Walking • Do wear appropriate shoes and clothing. • Do check the weather before leaving the house. You may need to “dress in layers.” • If you live alone, let someone know where you will be. It’s good to create an emergency call list to leave at home and with trusted neighbors. • Do use common sense at all times. Poor judgment can prove to be disastrous. • For security and in case you have an accident, carry with you an identification card and cell phone. • Do not distract others. Likewise, don’t be distracted by strangers and would-be pick pockets. • Don’t carry lots of cash.
